Gold bracelet from Iran, Jubaji, Tomb of the Elamite Princesses, Neo-Elamite Period, c. 575 BCE.
The tomb contained two bronze bathtub-shaped coffins holding the remains of two princesses—approximately 17 and 35 years old—members of the Elamite royal family, buried together with a large number of grave goods.
Among the various artifacts of gold, silver, bronze, and ivory discovered in the tomb, a gold bracelet bearing a Neo-Elamite cuneiform inscription (possibly recording the names of both the king and the princess) is of particular interest. The bracelet measures 6.6 × 9.9 cm.
Decorated with granulation and eye-patterned agate (onyx) stones, the bracelet consists of three interconnected sections. It was found on the arm of the younger princess.
